Faction Doctrines

A Dwarves player may choose one, and only one, of the Doctrines below. You gain all of the benefits of the choosen Doctrine.
 
Warriors of the Mountain Doctrine
Staunch Defender
Any non-soldier model that is hit during a Close Combat Action gains a +1 #MA for its Defensive Strikes for that Action.
 
Natural Sprinters
Dwarves gain a +3" Mov bonus when performing a charge instead of the normal 2"
 
 
Giant Slayers Doctrine
Giant Slayers
All Dwarves on Standard bases gain Dodge/+1 against all opponents on Large or Giant bases. Also, all Dwarves also gain Smite(Larger Sized Base).

Dwarves gain a +3" Mov bonus when performing a charge instead of the normal 2"
 

Warlord Benefits

Warlords bring a certain presence with them to the battlefield. When fielding a Warlord, the following benefits are gained:

King Thorgram Grimsteel Bane Enemy models with the Tough SA make their Tough check with a -2 penalty when killed in Close Combat by any models in King Thorgram's Troop. (Auto-10 always succeeds)
Logan Battlefury Berserkergang of the Ancients Once per activation, any models in Logan's troop may use their Frenzy SA but take the cumulative -1 penalty to their DV instead of their MAV. The models lose the Tough SA for the Activation they do this.
Herryk Aesir, High Cleric Runic Hammer Due to the awe inspiring nature of the Hammer, as long as he is alive on the battlefield using it, all leader led troops treat the Hammer as the equivalent of a Troop Standard Equipment upgrade. This effect does not stack with a Standard purchased as Troop equipment.

Hammer of the Mountain God Weapon 50 Model gains the Mighty SA, and once per game, as a Specialty Action, the model may cast the Earthquake spell with a CP of 7.
