Faction Doctrines

A Mercenary player may choose one, and only one, of the Doctrines below. You gain all of the benefits of the choosen Doctrine.
 
Bounty Doctrine
A Change of Heart
You may choose a single Data Card from another faction and change its Affiliation to Mercenary/Neutral. You can change any Data Card. If you choose to change a Soldier Card or a non-unique Model, then the change applies to all of those Models. For example, if you're fielding an all Mercenary Army, and you want to bring a group of Crimson Knights, you may use A Change of Heart on the Crimson Knight Data Card. They will become Mercenary/Neutral in your Mercenary Army only.
 
Plunder
You may select one non-unique piece of equipment from a Faction specific equipment list.
 
 
Scoundrel's Luck Doctrine
Scoundrel's Luck
At the beginning of play, set aside 1 token (e.g., glass beads, dice, etc) for each complete 200pts or your Army. For example an 600pt - 799pt game would allow for 3 tokens and a 1000pt - 1199pt game would allow for 5. At any time during the course of play, you may expend one of these tokens to either:

A) Re-roll one of your die results. The result of the re-roll replaces the original roll. You may spend another token to re-roll again.

B) Change a die result from a natural 1 into a natural 10.

When you run out of tokens, you're out of luck. You may spend your luck tokens at any time you wish, but once spent, they're gone for the rest of the game.
 

Warlord Benefits

Warlords bring a certain presence with them to the battlefield. When fielding a Warlord, the following benefits are gained:

Notes: All models in the Spellcaster's Troop gain the Smite(All) SA until the end of the Troop's current Activation.

Affect: 2 Points of Damage
Notes: UNIQUE: All enemy models in B2B with the Spellcaster take 2 points of damage. When casting this spell, the spellcaster does not suffer the usual -2 Penalty for casting a spell while in B2B with an enemy model.
