Faction Doctrines
An Overlords player may choose one, and only one, of the Doctrines below. You gain all of the benefits of the choosen Doctrine.
 
Lich's Bidding Doctrine
Do Your Duty
Once per Activation any Elite or Leader Model may reassign a single point of damage that it suffers from melee combat to any friendly Soldier model it is in B2B with. Damage cannot be reassigned to a model that has already suffered enough damage to kill it.
 
Fear the Whip
The Rally Action is considered a Free Action for all Leaders. It is Still Non-Repeatable.
 
 
Followers of Khardullis Doctrine
Voice of Khardulis
All Spellcasters gain the spell 'Incite' in addition to their normal spells. Any caster that already has access to that spell, may cast it for only 1 SP.
 
Warbrides
Troops fielding the Model 'Moraia, Warbride' count as having purchased the Troop Musician and the Troop Standard Equipment upgrades at no additional cost. Standards and/or Musicians may not be purchased for this Troop.
 
 
Onyx Legion Doctrine
Hunter's Edge
All Models with the Spy SA can choose to either use the ability as normal twice per game (instead of the normal once) or they can use the ability to place the card at the bottom of the initiative deck instead of just delaying the card 1 turn
 
Wall of Steel
All non-Solo models with the Deflect SA get +1 to their Deflect bonus when they are in B2B with at least 2 other non-Solo models with the Deflect SA.
 
Unbendable
All non-Solo models gain +1 MD as long as they are in B2B with at least 2 other non-Solo models
 

Warlord Benefits

Warlords bring a certain presence with them to the battlefield. When fielding a Warlord, the following benefits are gained:

Ashkrypt, Lichlord of Craclaw The Lich's Blessing On each of Ashkrypt's Activations, Ashkrypt may use a Free Action to do 1 point of damage to any model in his troop and heal 1 point of damage on himself.
General Matisse Dark Connections All Elites in General Matisse's Troop gain the Spy SA.
Marquise Zora d'Arengo Slave Driver All slave soldiers gain a 3" bonus instead of 2" for Runner or Charge.

Spiked Armor Armor 10 Model gains +1 # MA on Defensive Strikes.

Affect: 1 Point of Damage + Burning
Notes: All affected enemy models in B2B with the Spellcaster take 1 point of damage and become Burning. When casting this spell, the spellcaster does not suffer the usual -2 Penalty for casting a spell while in B2B with an enemy model.
